OVERBOARD! Benefit Night uplifting Project Safe & the Philly Red Umbrella Alliance

Tonight’s Benefit Cabaret will be hosted by Mxstress Lilith, featuring the incredible cast of Inversions! We will be uplifting the work of Project Safe and the Philly Red Umbrella Alliance.

”Inversions is a collective of pole dancers composed of diverse ethnicities, body types, genders and sexual orientations. We are pro sex worker, promoters of consent culture and advocates for safer spaces. Our aim is to usher in the new age of strip club style entertainment. With each show, we have continued to prove that our audiences are thirsty for sexy entertainers whom defy outdated standards set forth by Gentlemen clubs and the like. Our talented and creative entertainers are here to challenge the status quo and turn everything that came before on its head.”

Project Safe is a grassroots, direct-service, and peer-based harm reduction organization. We organize with and provide women and queer/trans-centered services with a focus on community members living and working in the street economies in Kensington, Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Red Umbrella Alliance is an all-volunteer collective dedicated to ending stigma & violence towards sex workers through labor organizing, advocacy, & decriminalization. PRUA is run by sex workers, and strives to advocate for and service all erotic laborers in the city of Philadelphia. This includes full service sex workers, strippers and dancers, FBSM providers, online workers and beyond.
