But this tour is unlike other tours; she's going rogue! Experience a horny, attention-starved, new mom navigate the tragic story of the probable-possible-maybe-made-up-but-probably-not love affair between Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. She's taking history into her own hands and along the way tackling issues of motherhood, sexuality, and the crises of existence. All aboard!

About the Artist:
Rebecca Posner

As a performance artist, writer, and director currently living in Philadelphia, my work always aims to straddle the worlds of both the sincere and the absurd. My devising process often begins with a fierce ache to uncover and share some sort of question or truth that usually has been haunting me for quite a while. Whatever the initial impulse, my process is usually solitary at first, and then, after a certain amount of time, the mass of whatever I have constructed is brought to my collaborators, and, together, we make a work that is fresh, playful, and distinctly genuine. The source material becomes words, images, piles of research, movement phrases, and seemingly unrelated video clips or paragraphs from articles. All of it gets its time in the rehearsal room. And, eventually, out of the tumult, a work begins to emerge that is viscerally wild and radically vulnerable: a true representation of my values and myself.
