This Justice System is insensitive...it is care-less and biased! Courtrooms are overcrowded with stories of mis-represented and misunderstood cases. It's one big circus the way this administration juggles the lives of the poor and underserved.
Awoke: The Musical brings attention to how mass incarceration has become a business and the pipeline from public schools to prisons.

Run Boy Run Productions was founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2013 by writer, poet, Allen Clark. Run Boy Run Production's goal is to give you the most thought- evoking work by some of the brightest up and coming minds in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. With our work, which spans social, cultural, and various artistic spectrums, our goal is to not only awaken the intellect, but also provoke conversation about your theatrical experience. If there is one thing for sure, Run Boy Run is here to give you the experience you will run and tell someone about. Our landmark piece, Underground Episodes, written by Allen Clark was the winner at the Ithaca Fringe Festival where it was the unprecedented recipient of both the Dixon and the Audience Choice Awards. After that it became more important for Run Boy Run Productions to show how as an organization it would assist in the writing and development of first time directors such as Kamillah Abdul (Mississippi Smiles),Andrew Chupa (Of Maintenance and Men), Vince Brown, Dionne McCray, Roshelle Lennon and Nichole Spain (Group Therapy) and produce work for first time director Sagacious Pen (Nobody’s Perfect).
